Alright, there has been a slight setback. Iba actually already used up her abilities for the day before we went off. Yeah, she just forgot to tell me that -_-
She isn't all that trained yet and can only bend time for like a minute a day. Metronomes manipulate time by channeling the Pendulum which due to how vast and powerful it is can be a challenge on the body without proper training.
She came with me anyway and we got the book but as soon as we were about to leave we were spotted by a patrolling Martyr. I should perhaps explain a few things.
The Archive is the organization run by the archivists who are servants of the blind man, the fear of forgetting. The archivists collect knowledge for the Blind Man. A martyr is a rank within the archive and acts as a sort of security guard for the archive.
The martyr caught us and threw us into the sphere, which is a prison of some kind. Luckily he didn't take my phone away. I was gonna try using my fire powers to melt the bars but I didn't want to risk getting caught again by bringing attention to myself.
So now we are just waiting for tomorrow so that Iba can use her ability to us out of here.
